Fields of Blue

There's a vacant hole behind your face
Somewhere to lose time to your space
My reverie underneath the stars
Close to your sphere, birthplace of scars
Now we remove from your unreal
Words flit between sounding ideal
Now nothing reigns where once I was one
Taking my stars, my moon and my sun
Something unseen under my skin
Watching the clock and world as they spin
Far off behind a plain so fair
No map remains that could take me there
